Connectors Basic Overview
Sources include contact center calls, chat and messaging platforms, CRM platforms, surveys, social media, online communities, digital aggregators, and review sites.You can use Connectors to:
- Upload data from multiple sources.
- Map source fields to your project’s attributes.
- Leverage XM Discover enrichments, filters, and transformation logic with your system of record.
- Use jobs to control all aspects of one-time and periodic data pulls.
- Manage account-level connectors and credentials.
XM Discover Integrations
XM Discover integrations enable you to close the “listen—analyze—act” loop by seamlessly leveraging XM Discover enrichments, filters, and transformation logic with your system of record. For more information on XM Discover integrations, see XM Discover Integrations.
Data Mapping
Data mapping enables you to define the structure and format of data in your XM Discover project. For more information on data mapping, see Configuring Data Mapping.
Filtering Inbound Data
Filtering enables you to control which documents get uploaded into XM Discover. For more information on filtering inbound data, see Connector Filter.
Managing Jobs
You can create multiple jobs using the same connector and use jobs to control all aspects of one-time and periodic data pulls. For more information on managing jobs, see Jobs Page Overview.
Transforming Data
You can use the transformations feature to clean your data and modify the format of predefined responses before uploading them into XM Discover. For more information on data transformation, see Applying Transformations.
XM Discover Data Formats
XM Discover supports 3 data formats (ad-hoc file upload inbound connector, files inbound connector and XM Discover link inbound connector) which you can upload using different file types. For more information on XM Discover data formats, see XM Discover Data Formats Overview.
Account Settings
You can manage the sets of credentials used to connect to external sources, enable or disable connectors for your account and manage account translation options via Account Settings.
